On February 22nd the Queen Mary II and Queen Elizabeth sailed in to Sydney Harbour however due to the masses of on lookers crowding the waterfront for its arrival I chose instead to photograph its departure. This would afford me the opportunity to drive between a couple of locations by the harbour as it travelled out and shoot the following two images.

Weekly Photo - 20/02/2011 "Weekend Away"
I spent the weekend over in New Zealand; Queenstown to be exact. The trip was not exactly a photographic expedition but rather to visit my dads old nanny, Elanore (Pictured below), from back when he was a baby in England. This week I have chosen a small selection of images I shot between seeing my dads 90 Year Old nanny and the brief moments of nice light.

Updated my SportsShooter Page - Recent Swimming Images
Just to share some of my recent work with a wider audience I have decided to post a link to my SportsShooter page which I have just updated with some recent swimming images which I was hired to shoot for my old school. I haven't shot much swimming before, in fact my first real attempt at shooting the sport was only the day before! Conditions outside where great and I think I did well.
My SportsShooter page can be found at http://www.sportsshooter.com/angusm, However as I update that page fairly often I have also attached the images below... Enjoy!!

Weekly Photo - 13/02/2011 "Stormy Skies"
This weeks photo was taken on Tuesday the 8th at around 6:30pm. The passing storm blanketed the city putting the CBD into deep shadow, luckily the storm brought with it cool winds and not too much rain. As you can see behind the clouds the sky was still fairly bright.
