Weekly Photo - 31/12/2010 "364th day of 2010"

As you can see from the previous blog post i spent New Years Eve in Rome, Italy. This image was taken by the Scalinata della Tinita dei Monti (AKA: The Spanish Steps) in Piazza di Spagna.

    Wow! Love this black-and-white image and the poignancy that's been captured in the subject's expression. This is a shot to rival Annie Leibovitz's.

    Actually, it's more Henri Cartier-Bresson than Annie Leibovitz. Stunning.

    Almost a three dimensional feel and a real strength to his expression with the soft tones of the background. I really enjoyed the image.
